Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, is the first African American Sorority, founded on the campus of Howard University in 1908. The ZNO Community Service Fund Inc. (ZNO CSF, Inc), a 501 (c) (3) organization, was incorporated in 1982, by New York State through the efforts of Zeta Nu Omega Chapter, of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated®, to provide service to Westchester County residents. Most notably, the ZNO CSF Inc. has awarded over $750,000 in scholarships to high school students across Westchester County.

EAF promotes lifelong learning accomplished by securing charitable contributions, gifts and endowed funds to award
scholarships, fellowships and grants.
In 2017, Zeta Nu Omega Chapter began awarding scholarships through the Youth Aging Out of Foster Care Program. Consequently, over $6,000 have been awarded to men and women formerly in the foster care system in New York State, who live or are being educated in Westchester County.
